About Us

At Whole Health Dentistry, we are passionate about saving lives and are dedicated to providing oral health care that treats the whole person.

While tooth decay and gum disease are the more obvious signs of poor oral health, chronic low-grade infection in the mouth can elevate systemic inflammation in the body, playing a key role in the development of many chronic diseases. Preventing and treating oral diseases can have a profound impact on your overall health.

Our team, led by Dr. Susan Smith, DMD, offers preventative oral health care strategies that address whole body health. We use an integrative approach to treating oral inflammation with an overall goal of helping reduce systemic inflammation.

Over the last 32 years, Dr. Smith has become increasingly interested in the connection between oral health and whole body health, and has continued to develop her understanding of integrated oral healthcare, and to search for new technologies that help provide the best treatment outcomes possible.

At Whole Health Dentistry, in addition to providing a high level of oral healthcare and dental expertise, we also offer preventative strategies that may help you achieve greater overall health. You’ll not only benefit from our team’s vast experience and open communication, but you will also receive friendly, compassionate and comfortable care.  We look forward to welcoming you to our family dental practice.
